Rodwell, Warren William. Passed away on 21 April 2026 surrounded by family. In his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Avril. Much loved father and father-in-law of Marianne and Don, Tracey and Anthony, Janelle and Johnny. Cherished Poppa of Kennedy, Darcy, Eve, Joel, Stella, and the late Kelsey and Spencer. Forever loved and remembered.

Warren was past president of the Glen Eden Lions Club and loved being able to give back to the Glen Eden and Titirangi communities when we were kids in the 1970s. One gift was new crossing lollipops to Kaurilands Primary School and one big project was a skateboard bowl at Ceramco Park - this was when skateboarding was the thing first time around. He built a boat - 17ft Pelin Aquarius Nomad christened Wildflower - she was a beaut. A cabinetmaker by trade, he enjoyed restoring antique furniture, but also had his own business and counted Farmers, Noel Leeming, Living & Giving, NZ Post amongst others as clients. He was also a keen runner and joined Owairaka Athletics Club and went on to complete many marathons in his late 30s and 40s. Dad lived in Pt Chevalier and in Northland with his late wife Avril. His last days were back in his beloved Pt Chev. We will miss him very much but take comfort that dad is no longer in pain. Enjoy your well deserved rest WWR.
