It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron who peacefully passed after a short illness at home on 28 December 2024 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Raewyn; special Dad to the late Leigh, Gary and Mich; and Bradley and Gina. Loving stepfather to Jacqui and Lance; Vanessa and Clive and the late Greig.
Brother to Maureen and Gary Donaldson, and Uncle to Mark, Brett and Michelle.
Esteemed Pops to Amber and Jack; Jess, Lara and Abby; Amy and Danny; Rhiannon, Siobhan and Callum; and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, 3 January 2025 at 12:30 pm in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home , 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, Auckland. All friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Ron's life and legacy.
May Ron rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him – we will miss him terribly!

I always smile when I think of you Uncle Ron, your infectious smile and cheeky personality. I will miss you, thankyou for all of the happy memories. Rest in peace, I hope you are now with Nannie and Grandad and Leigh and making them laugh. Forever in our hearts.
