Peacefully in the presence of Philip, aged 89 years, much loved father of Philip. Brother of the late Marion, Gerald and Nola (Wellington) Neil and the late Margaret (New Plymouth) Treasured by his nieces and nephews. Always loved, always remembered. The Funeral Service for Eric at 11am in the Garden Chapel of Morrisons Funeral Home, Henderson, Saturday 6th December 2025, all communications to c/o of Morrisons Funeral Home, Universal Drive, Henderson

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your very sad loss. I had known Eric since we both worked in the ANZ Bank in Hawera when we were 17 years of age. Our birthdays were in the same month. It has only been in the latter years when we were in retirement villages that we started to keep in touch again.. For some years Eric supplied me with weekly funnies which I so enjoyed, having a good laugh and sharing them with my friends. He was also one of our groomsmen when I married, as my husband was also from the Bank. He did visit me once over here at Murray Halberg Retirement Village and we had a nice lunch and a long chat in our Cafe. It was really lovely to see him again. So sorry he has gone.
