Much loved husband to Pushpaben Patel, treasured father and father-in-law to Nilesh and Meeta, and Rupal and Pretesh. Blessed to be grandfather to Rayaan and Avaiya. He was deeply loved by his family and the wider community and lived a fulfilled happy life. He was a pillar of strength and knowledge. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at 3pm at Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson. Donations in lieu of flower to The Cancer Society. We take comfort in knowing he is at peace and his legacy will live on in his family. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Like our grandpa, Harshad Mama was our pride, inspiration, and role model — our prestige and identity. He always believed that service to humanity is service to God. Both Grandpa and Mama were great orators who dedicated their lives to serving society.
We siblings spent nearly all our childhood vacations with him and our other Mamas and Masis — we were raised like princes and princesses. Those golden days will never be forgotten. During my visit to New Zealand, the hospitality I received was unmatched!
Like Grandpa Khapabhai Zinabhai, he was deeply devoted to social causes, Bharat, and our culture. He served many organizations in various leadership roles, including president. His contributions to society will be remembered for years to come, and we will strive to continue his legacy.
