Im not very good with words but for Bhupesh, I wanted to say how much he meant to me.
I met him through my older brother, Dharmesh and circle of friends.
I spent a lot of my teens years hanging out watching countless super rugby games and enjoying BBQs while I listened to the "orders brothers stories.
He taught me how to snowboard (still terrible at it), went overseas trips with him, daft punk music and even went to my first concert with him and my brother- MJ!
Now having a person like him in your life for a teen was nothing short of "awesome"! Through him im met Uday also.
With the two of them, I learnt and saw so much of the world - things I would not have done myself, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I lost touch with Bhupesh even though we were within 10ks of eschother and wished I made more effort.
My wife and kids didnt get to meet you but I used to speak frequently about you and Uday so you live on in my life!
I will miss him so dearly but will cherish and remember all the good times we had together.
I will find you and meet up again so you can tease about my residing hairline!
Till then, rest easy my brother!
Ps: My daughter loves listening to daft punk also
Bhupesh stayed with our family in London around 2003. Little did we know just how much of an impact he would go on to have on our lives, and on the lives of everyone he met. He was never just a guest in our home, he became part of our family. Even though we had only known each other for a short time, he cared for us and looked after us as though we had known each other for years. He was always there to help, and he supported me and my family during times when we needed it most. Bhupesh taught us so much. He made us realise that we should get out, see the world and explore. He showed us the importance of talking, connecting with people and to be kind.
I have many fond memories of our time together, like our trips into town and Central London, having BBQs, and simply sitting and talking together in the evenings. Simple moments, but they are memories which mean the most to me. Words cannot truly describe the impact Bhupesh had on my life and on our family. He was a pillar in our home, and he became such an important part of our lives. In many ways, he is part of the reason I am the person I am today. He played such an important part in mine and my family's life. Something I can't thank him enough for.
Thank you, Bhupesh, for everything you did for us, and for the kindness, care and memories you gave us.
I only wish we had the opportunity to see you again and to meet your wonderful family. You will always be remembered. My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to your wife, two boys, family and friends.
I was one of the first to arrive to your aid last Wednesday. Myself and the other caring people of Avondale did what we could for you. Saddened to hear of your loss Bhupesh. Rest in love.
i met bhupesh at avondale college during my exchange year in 1990.
we became friends and i spent so much time with him.
even though we last met 22 years ago, our friendship never faded. even after years without contact, we would have a call or write and it just felt like we had seen each other the day before.
i did miss him a lot being on the other side of the globe and always hoped to see him again, to make my way downunder again, to meet his family and
to share our experiences we made.
i miss you already, i'm going to miss you even more, my dearest friend.
thank you for your wonderful friendship.
my sincere condolences
to his mum, his brother, his wife and the boys and all his friends
I remember when you came to visit us in the UK. I was so excited... It was such a wonderful surprise when you picked us up from school.
You stayed with us for two years, sharing your adventures, telling us about your plans, and showing us the world through your eyes. You taught us not to just sit still, but to get out, explore, and make the most of life. We loved our days out with you in Central London. Even though you were the tourist, somehow you were always the one showing us around.
You stayed in touch like a big brother, always checking in from time to time. Even if it was just a quick hello, you always made time for us, no matter how many years had passed.
I was looking forward to seeing you again. My heart is broken that I won't get that chance in this lifetime.
Rest peacefully, big brother 💙. Keep a lookout for me until we meet again.
So sorry to hear about the loss of Bhupesh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. From all the late Dayalbhai L Patel family (Bolton UK)
We are deeply sad for the loss of Bhupesh, we have wonderful memories of him staying with us many years ago in London, he did so much for me and my children and was a part of our family. We will always cherish your time with us.
