Dearest Sandy, Cory & Hayley,
I was sad not be be there in person, but was so special to hear you all talk so bravely and with such love about Mike via the live stream. It was an incredibly sad day but wonderful to hear the amazing impact he had made on so many people in all the different aspects of his life. I will miss his fast wit and outrageous sense of humour. I will miss his refreshing directness and clarity when he summed up his impression of things going on, having pared away all the bullshit! But, in spite of his jovial banter, he was one of the most genuine and caring people I know. I know that his family was everything to him and that he loved and was so proud of all of you. It has been a treasure to me and Zoe that our paths have crossed and we have experienced the love in your family. Aroha to you all xxx

My sincere condolences to Mike's family and friends, I had the pleasure of working with Mike for a short period and his joyful and cheeky nature was always refreshing. His memory will live on in those who knew him as he made a positive impact on those who had the privilege to cross paths with Mike.
