These are just some of my memories of darling Lorraine gathered from 54 years of friendship that I will always cherish
• So totally dedicated to her family, friends and so many students over the years’
• Her kindness to so many. My Mum of 103 loved her
• Her openness to both ideas and ideals
• Her passion and curiosity for life
• Her love of her garden and nature
Lorraine you will be so sadly missed but also so treasured
Adieu a mon amie disparu
And much Love to Graeme and all the extended family

Dear Graeme and family,
We were very sorry to hear about the loss of Lorraine. She is a wonderful person who was very generous with her enthusiasm and support of so many people. We remember the lovely times in Taupo. You introduced Sally to cappuccinos, every Saturday morning in the only cafe that sold them. (I'm still drinking them to this day!) Lorraine was a very good cook, and we remember many delicious brunches and dinners. Lorraine was also a wonderful teacher. Remembering many happy times in Taupo. I hope the whole family shares lots of wonderful memories at this very sad time. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the funeral but will watch a live stream if possible. We look forward to catching up with you Graeme in the near future.
Lots of love, Sally and Deryck
