Dear Carter,
As much as I do hope you remembered me, I definitely always remembered you. Your kind, caring and thoughtfull gesture always put a smile on my face. I remember you and me winning 3rd place, representing kaurilands primary in the Kotuitui technology competition by building two robots that could keep students out of the school foyer. They didn't work though. At least we can look back and laugh. After all its not about winning or if they are effective. But about problem solving and collaborating with your friends. Your brilliant mind was full with future possibilities and you would always be keen to tell everyone. The days where we played roblox together and would talk the next day at school about what we would have built. Your passion for technology, robots, sports, the list could go on really. your familly, myself, your friends and loved ones will miss you Carter,
Rest easy.
Max
Dear Carter,
You were quite literally the nicest person I knew. You were bright, smiley, good-hearted, intelligent, sporty, humble, selfless, encouraging, and the list goes on. Thank you for your kindness, your spirit and your willingness to help anyone. Thank you for our chats, thank you for being such an asset to EPro8 and every other sport or club you joined, and thank you for being the caring person that you were, and for being a warm light in our lives.
You told me that you thought that when you were to leave this world, people would move on after a while and just keep on living. Carter, the only reason why the world is still spinning is because we can't stop it and the only reason why we move forward is because otherwise we'd be lost. Life goes on but it's broken and shattered and it is never going to come back together again. You were cared about, a lot. I hope you can see that. The chapel was completely full on the day of your funeral. It is so hard to see how much people are hurting, and to know how much you were hurting yourself. I will forever be sorry that I could not help your pain. Thank you so much for trusting me and being my friend, and I am so sorry that I let you down and could not find the thing that you needed to escape your hurt. It sucks that the only way you felt you could stop it was to stop feeling anything at all.
I hope you have your peace now at least.
I hope that this is not goodbye, we shall meet again. We miss you more than you could ever imagine
My deepest condolences to your family and loved ones, this is a great loss that nobody should have to go through.
Rest easy buddy,
Milly

Carter, you were one of the most accepting and kind people I knew. You were also very helpful, and I can remember multiple times where you offered to help me with work even when I didn't ask for it. I remember opening up to you, and how much you attempted to understand me, which I am grateful for. I have so many silly and fun memories with you and the laughs we shared with our benchmates Leah, and then Hayato. Now I just look at your empty seat, and it hurts so much. Hayato is even quieter than usual. Even now I find it hard to believe you're gone, considering how recent my memories of you are. I regret not being more lively and kind towards you, or standing up for you whenever I noticed people insulting you. All we can do now is honor your memory by helping those who need it, and remembering you with each step we take. You only deserve the best from now on, and if an afterlife exists you better be in heaven. I hope you have found peace.
Fly high dude,
Jaric - your chemistry benchmate and friend :)
