Jean wasn't my nana by blood - but she filled that role in every way that mattered. She always took an interest in my life and education, never missed a birthday or Christmas, and was a wonderful cook and baker. I have so many fond memories of staying with Jean and Pop - watching Coronation Street in the school holidays, looking through photo albums and doing little activities together. Those simple, happy times helped spark my love for travelling and exploring the world. I'll always be greatful for the kindness, care and love she showed me. She'll be dearly missed.
