Dear Danny, we were so pleased to see you find your home in Newall Rd, the big mountain view and quiet beaches for walking with your best friends, you had been looking for that place for a long time. You were just getting started when you were found to be ill, as usual, you processed things and with great bravery, faced it front on. Now you rest, well done friend, well done.

The news of your passing came as a shock to me.

I still remember the brief conversation we had before you left the company. You told me about some of your plans for the future. You said you were going to move to a small town and build a little house there.

So, in my mind, I always imagined that you had gone on to live the life you wanted—peaceful, simple, and content…

Although we did not work together for very long, I will always remember you as someone who would appear whenever we needed you, and bringing your own special Aura—calm, steadfast, and resilient…

At this moment, I can only hope that heaven truly exists, and that you are there now, living the life you always wanted—peaceful, simple, and content…

Danny was a darling. On the team to build my house in Waipu, he was always fun to be around and a great worker. So sad to hear of his passing. Will be with you online
