Watch the serviceAnne Downie passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday 29 May 2026, aged 78, at Hospice West Auckland. Born in Glasgow, she made Auckland home in 1973 and never looked back, a proud Westie to the end. Beloved daughter of William and Jessie. Devoted wife to Morton. Amazing mother to John. Coffee buddy mother-in-law to Cheryleita. Cuddle-ready grandmother to Vincent and Zander. A celebration of Anne's life will be held Wednesday 3 June at 12.30pm, Morrisons Funerals, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson. All welcome. Tributes at http://www.morrisons.co.nz.
