What a lovely service! Mary visited often when I lived with Marion, but she rarely sat down. She was usually working for hours on end in the garden and had to be persuaded to stop for a cup of tea. Her energy and stamina in her late 80s surpassed that of most 50 yr olds and never ceased to amaze me. She was an amazing woman and the epitome of what a mother should be. Much love and condolences to Mary's family.

Such an amazing woman who lived a full life, and was a wonderful role model.

Mary was a huge part of our family life as not only a neighbour but a friend who became family. Mary watched our family grow and the comings and goings and was often part of those comings and goings. Always a beautiful smile, always generous with her time advice and baking.
Much love to the Hamer Family, thanks for sharing your wonderful Mother and Grandmother with us.
Rest in Love Mary, we will miss you. Janine, Joshie, Sophie, Storm and our Angel Rich

I have so many wonderful memories of Mary who looked after myself and younger sister Nicky for so many years - I remember her taking us to the movies in the school holidays when we were young as part of her family - so many of us in her little car - would never be allowed to do this today!! She was the most wonderful positive person and she will be missed be everyone who knew her - Rest In Peace Mary with love Jill, Nicky and Sonny💕💕

Mary was a wonderful Gran to me and I loved her very much.
We played Rummikub and Scrabble over tea and toffeepops; and I got to know the comfort and gentleness of having a grandma.
Thank you Mary, I was so lucky that you were Gran next door.
