Peacefully on 27 January 2026 surrounded by family. Much loved father of Zoe, Amie and Julian, father-in-law of Wayne and Dave, treasured poppa of Hana, Orelia, Cleo, Nico. Cherished companion of Lucie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Frank, Noeleen and Kevin, Louise, Steve and Jan, Kate and Stewart, Tim and Jenny, Greg and Kim and the late Helen, Philip and Raewyn. Always loved, always remembered.

His spirit crossed cultures and boundaries. It came from a noble heart, gentle yet powerful.
Maurice did not simply pass through our lives.
He left light behind.
